Mom and Dad's bed is the ONE place in the house where I am safe from Diesel. We can't get up there on our own, so they'll help me up pretty often so I can lay down and relax by myself while they shower or fold laundry, etc. Until the other day, when the little monster really wanted the toy I had and figured out he could jump up on the bed!!!!!!! He did it over and over even though Mom kept putting him down. She caught it on camera once and then decided not to encourage him to get up there anymore. Luckily for me, I think the pea brain forgot already that he could do it and it seems I'm safe for now:

Bikini Season (Lola)
Mom got a new Flip video camcorder which is super cool- so now she can take videos of our antics (just what you've all been waiting for)... After our day of rest yesterday and today (we're feeling much better on the antibiotics by the way), Mom and Dad set up our pool out back- it's so refreshing! This video is right when we got in, so we're just getting used to the water and not playing too much yet, but Mom loves when we both shake off the water at the same time. Enjoy!

Long Night at the Emergency Vet (Lola)
Mom went to Greece for three weeks and now she's back to type our blog entries for us again... On her first day back, baby Diesel was hacking/coughing all day and last night he started throwing up bile over and over (don't worry, we didn't take a pic of that!), and then he started shaking and didn't even want his dinner, which is when we knew something was REALLY wrong.
Mom and Dad spent three hours with him at the Emergency vet and after blood work to rule out pancreatitis and x-rays to look for a "foreign body," the vet found LOTS of air in Diesel's belly and intestines and kept him overnight to re-radiograph him at 2:00am and 6:00am... This morning, $700+ later, he was feeling better, the gas had moved through his belly so the vet says it's probably nothing blocking him up. Now I have started to hack and we think that we got kennel cough from our friend Crumble who comes to play with us and has it. Our own vet suggested today that maybe the coughing irritated D's throat so much that it caused him to vomit, etc... So now we're both on antibiotics and Mom's praying we don't need another trip to the E.R.! Here's what we're doing all day:
